Dr Mahila Abbass

Dr Mahila Abbass is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner based in Brighton, Australia. With a holistic approach to patient care, she is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Abbass provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from young children to older generations, ensuring that each individual receives personalised and evidence-based treatment.

Dr Abbass completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Deakin University in 2011. Prior to her medical training, she earned a Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience with Honours from Monash University. To further her expertise in women's health, she completed postgraduate training and obtained a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

As a General Practitioner, Dr Abbass has developed a strong clinical interest in women's health, sexual and reproductive health, and general medicine. She is highly skilled in managing menstrual disorders, perimenopause, menopause care, and contraception, including the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants.
