Dr Lynette Skardoon

Dr Lynette Skardoon is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Throughout her career, she has worked across diverse settings, including rural communities, provincial towns, and major metropolitan cities. Dr Skardoon adopts a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on the well-being of the whole patient and ensuring that each individual receives personalised, compassionate treatment.

Dr Skardoon obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland, having been awarded a prestigious commonwealth scholarship to pursue her medical studies. She is a Life Member of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her long-standing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Her extensive training also includes significant clinical experience in general medicine and paediatrics, gained while working at major paediatric and women's health hospitals in both Queensland and Victoria.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Skardoon has developed special interests in women's health, child health, dermatology, sports medicine, and travel medicine. Her dedication to medical service extends beyond traditional practice; she has participated in humanitarian deployments, providing vital medical aid to earthquake victims overseas. For her selfless efforts and outstanding service during these missions, she was honoured with an Outstanding Humanitarian Service Medal.
