Dr Lynette Chee is a highly qualified Clinical Pathologist and Haematologist who specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of blood disorders. With a patient-centred approach, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals navigating complex haematological conditions. Dr Chee combines clinical expertise with laboratory pathology to ensure accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment pathways for her patients.

Her primary clinical interests encompass both malignant and non-malignant blood conditions. Dr Chee has extensive experience in managing acute and chronic leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplasia, and myeloproliferative disorders. Additionally, she possesses specialised knowledge in bone marrow and stem cell transplants, helping patients navigate these advanced therapeutic procedures with reassurance and expert guidance. Her dual expertise in clinical care and laboratory pathology allows her to bridge the gap between laboratory findings and bedside care, ensuring a seamless treatment experience.

Dr Chee completed her undergraduate medical degree at Adelaide University before undertaking extensive postgraduate training in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology across several prominent healthcare institutions in Australia and New Zealand. She has also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Melbourne, reflecting her deep commitment to medical research and clinical advancement. Dr Chee holds joint fellowships with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Alongside her clinical practice, she serves as a Clinical Associate Professor, contributing to the education of future medical professionals.
