Dr Lydia Hubbard

Dr Lydia Hubbard is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community of Bangalow, Australia. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care to individuals and families at all stages of life. Dr Hubbard believes in fostering strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Originally from Newcastle, Dr Hubbard completed her medical degree (MBBS) and went on to gain extensive clinical experience. She undertook her medical training across several major hospitals in Queensland and New South Wales, gaining valuable exposure in paediatric, emergency, and regional healthcare settings. She completed her General Practice training in the Northern Rivers region and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, she obtained her Advanced Certificate in Emergency Medicine from the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) in 2017.

In her clinical practice, Dr Hubbard has developed a diverse range of interests, with a particular focus on preventative health, women's health, family planning, and palliative care. Her background in emergency medicine equips her with the skills to manage acute and complex medical situations with confidence and care.
