Dr Luke Dornan

Dr Luke Dornan is a compassionate and highly skilled General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong commitment to supporting the health and well-being of his patients, he delivers a broad range of primary healthcare services. Dr Dornan is passionate about preventative medicine and works closely with individuals and families to manage chronic conditions, promote healthy lifestyles, and deliver personalised treatment plans.

Dr Dornan completed his medical training in Townsville, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2011. Driven by a keen interest in procedural medicine, he undertook additional Surgical Advanced Skill Training in Toowoomba and Cairns before completing his General Practice training in 2018. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice with advanced skills in surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr Dornan has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on skin cancer medicine, minor surgery, and procedural medicine. His expertise extends to conducting thorough skin checks and performing advanced skin cancer treatments. In addition to procedural care, he is highly experienced in family medicine, paediatrics, immunisations, travel medicine, and the ongoing management of chronic diseases. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients receive the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs.
