Dr Louise Jayne Smart

Dr Louise Jayne Smart is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. As a Partner and General Practitioner, she is passionate about building ongoing continuity of care with her patients, taking the time to understand what is truly important to them. Dr Smart works collaboratively with individuals to optimise their health, well-being, and overall quality of life, ensuring they feel supported at every stage of their healthcare journey.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Smart enjoys all aspects of General Practice. She has developed a particular focus on supporting patients living with Long Covid, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and other complex, often "hidden" illnesses. Additionally, she is highly skilled in Chronic Disease Management, Women's Health, and Paediatrics. Her clinical practice also includes performing specialised procedures such as iron infusions, providing comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Dr Smart obtained her medical degree from Peninsula Medical School in England, graduating in 2009. Following her graduation, she completed her medical training and began consulting as a General Practitioner in England. She subsequently relocated to Australia with her family in August 2022, bringing her extensive international experience and clinical expertise to her patients.
