Dr Louise Bourke

Dr Louise Bourke is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. With a deep commitment to family medicine, she enjoys the diverse spectrum of general practice, supporting individuals from infancy through to aged care. Dr Bourke values the continuity of care that general practice offers, working collaboratively with her patients to navigate their unique health challenges and achieve optimal well-being.

Dr Bourke completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours at the Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin before pursuing postgraduate medical studies. She obtained her medical degree from Flinders University of South Australia in 2002. Committed to the highest standards of primary care, she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016. Additionally, she has completed the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health to further enhance her clinical capabilities.

In her clinical practice, Dr Bourke has developed a strong focus on chronic disease management and women's health. Her expertise encompasses reproductive and sexual health, preventative medicine, and holistic family care. As a General Practitioner of Aboriginal descent, she brings a culturally sensitive and empathetic approach to her work, ensuring that every patient feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
