Dr Lisa Freeman

Dr Lisa Freeman is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a compassionate approach to family medicine, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals at every stage of life. Her practice encompasses a broad range of medical services, ensuring that patients receive personalised and reassuring care tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Freeman completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) at the University of Queensland in 1983. Following her initial medical training at a hospital in Brisbane, she travelled to England to undertake postgraduate studies in obstetrics, gynaecology, and paediatrics. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she completed additional studies in general practice and sports medicine. Dr Freeman is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian Medical Association. She has also contributed to the wider medical community as the former Vice-President of the Gold Coast Sports Medicine Federation and as a member of the Medical Advisory Committee for the Queensland Surf Lifesaving Association.

Throughout her career, Dr Freeman has developed particular clinical interests in women's health, paediatrics, and sports medicine. Her extensive training allows her to offer specialised support in obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as comprehensive care for children's health and sports-related injuries. In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about medical education and is actively involved in training the next generation of medical students, sharing her wealth of knowledge and clinical experience.
