Dr Ling Yan

Dr Ling Yan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering personalised medical care that addresses the unique needs of each patient. Dr Yan enjoys the diverse nature of General Practice, welcoming patients of all ages and backgrounds, and is passionate about promoting long-term health and well-being within the community.

Dr Yan completed her medical degrees at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Driven by an interest in medical research, she relocated to Australia, where she completed a Master of Medical Science through the University of Newcastle in 2004 and engaged in cardiac research. She subsequently returned to clinical medicine, undertaking extensive training across several regional and metropolitan hospitals. Dr Yan commenced her specialised General Practice training in 2013 and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015.

Throughout her career, Dr Yan has developed a broad range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about preventative health, working closely with patients to manage lifestyle factors and prevent chronic illnesses. Her expertise also encompasses women's health and paediatrics, ensuring that both mothers and children receive tailored, supportive care. Additionally, Dr Yan has a strong interest in dermatology and is skilled in performing minor surgical skin procedures, offering patients comprehensive skin assessments and treatments.
