Mrs Libby Fleming

Ms Libby Fleming is an Occupational Therapist and Accredited Hand Therapist with specialist expertise in hand therapy and upper limb rehabilitation. She practises at GRIP Therapy, where she focuses on the assessment, treatment and recovery of conditions affecting the hand, wrist and upper limb. She has spent more than seven years specialising in hand therapy following her initial occupational therapy training.

Her clinical work includes rehabilitation after surgery or injury, splinting, scar management, pain management, exercise-based rehabilitation and functional recovery programmes designed to restore movement, strength and independence. She works with a wide range of presentations including fractures, tendon injuries, nerve conditions, post-operative recovery and chronic hand or wrist problems.

Ms Fleming completed four years of Occupational Therapy education at the University of South Australia. In 2018, she was credentialed as an Accredited Hand Therapist by the Australian Hand Therapy Association, a professional qualification recognising an advanced level of competence in hand therapy practice.

Her approach to care is centred on evidence-based rehabilitation, practical treatment planning and supporting long-term functional outcomes for people recovering from hand and upper limb conditions.
