Dr Li-Anne Lim

Dr Li-Anne Lim is a highly qualified and dedicated Ophthalmologist, Ophthalmic Oncologist, and Cataract Surgeon. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she provides comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients. Dr Lim is particularly recognised for her expertise in managing complex eye conditions, including eye cancers and simulating lesions, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored and compassionate treatment plan.

Dr Lim completed her medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, alongside a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) at the University of New South Wales. She went on to obtain a Master of Medicine in Clinical Ophthalmology from the University of Sydney. Following her general ophthalmic training, she pursued advanced sub-specialty fellowship training in ocular oncology and the diagnosis and management of eye tumours at prestigious international institutions in Canada and the United States.

As a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO), Dr Lim is committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. She is an active member of the International Society of Ocular Oncology and serves as the Ophthalmology Chair of the Australasian Ocular Melanoma Alliance. In addition to her clinical practice, she contributes to the advancement of her field as a Clinical Senior Lecturer, participating in clinical trials, research publications, and the education of future Ophthalmologists.
