Dr Leila Radfar

Dr Leila Radfar is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on preventative medicine and primary healthcare, she believes in a holistic approach to wellness that addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of health. Dr Radfar works closely with her patients to develop personalised treatment plans that align with their unique lifestyle goals, supporting them through various life transitions with empathy and professional expertise.

Throughout her career, Dr Radfar has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is highly skilled in skin cancer screening and treatment, performing minor surgical procedures with precision. Additionally, she is a certified Weight Management Specialist, offering evidence-based support for sustainable weight management and bariatric care. Her broad expertise also encompasses women's health, including perimenopause and menopause care, paediatric medicine, chronic disease management, and mental health support.

Dr Radfar completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at Islamic Azad University in 2004. After relocating to Australia, she earned her certification from the Australian Medical Council in 2012 and completed her General Practice training. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. To further her expertise, she obtained postgraduate qualifications in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College of Australia in 2017 and achieved SCOPE certification in weight management. Her foundational medical training also includes valuable experience gained as a Registrar in emergency medicine, trauma, and plastic and reconstructive surgery at major metropolitan health services.
