Dr Mariam Mathews obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Tribhuvan University in Nepal, qualifying in 2009. Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working in Nepal and India before relocating to Australia, where she worked across various hospitals in Brisbane. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.

Throughout her career, Dr Mariam Mathews has developed key clinical interests in women's health, paediatrics, chronic disease management, and minor procedures.
