Dr Lee Fong

Dr Lee Fong is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, Dr Fong supports patients across all stages of life, delivering tailored healthcare solutions that emphasise total health and wellbeing. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of primary care services, with particular expertise in chronic disease management, preventative health, and the co-ordination of complex care needs.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Fong is a prominent leader in the healthcare sector, actively contributing to clinical governance, service development, and medical advocacy. He serves as a Medical Advisor for a national safety and quality commission, where he has played a pivotal role in developing clinical care standards, including those for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Dr Fong also holds key leadership positions as the Medical Director of an after-hours general practice service and as a Senior Clinical Editor, working to integrate evidence-based guidelines into daily clinical practice to improve healthcare equity and patient outcomes.

Dr Fong completed his medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS). Committed to continuous professional development, he has obtained several postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Paediatrics (DipPaed) and a Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). He also holds a Certificate in Dermatoscopy (CertDermatoscopy) to support his work in skin health. Dr Fong is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is a founding member of a regional General Practitioner association.
