Dr Layla Ahmed

Dr Layla Ahmed is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on holistic medicine, Dr Ahmed believes in addressing all aspects of a patient's physical and mental well-being. Her reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients of all ages feel supported and heard throughout their healthcare journey.

In her clinical practice, Dr Ahmed has developed a diverse range of interests, with a particular focus on Women's Health, Mental Health, and Chronic Disease Management. She is highly skilled in performing minor clinical procedures, including Mirena and Implanon insertions and removals. Beyond her direct clinical work, Dr Ahmed is deeply passionate about medical education, actively participating in the training and supervision of Junior Doctors to help shape the next generation of Healthcare Professionals.

Dr Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). Demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, she has completed a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). She is also an accredited Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Her international qualifications and memberships include being a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the United Kingdom, alongside holding a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) and a Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP).
