Ms Lauren Healy

Ms Lauren Healy is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a warm and reassuring approach, she enjoys all aspects of general practice, working collaboratively with her patients to support their long-term health and well-being. Ms Healy focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships, ensuring that every individual feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

In her clinical practice, Ms Healy has developed a strong focus on women's and children's health, with particular expertise in pre-conception care, family planning, contraception, and post-natal support. She is highly passionate about guiding families through the newborn period and is qualified to perform contraceptive implant insertions. Additionally, she has a keen interest in sexual health, including the prescribing of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). Ms Healy also dedicates herself to eating disorder management, working in close partnership with allied health professionals such as dietitians and psychologists to deliver holistic care, and is registered with a national eating disorder support organisation.

Ms Healy completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne in 2010, followed by her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University, qualifying in 2015. To further her expertise in paediatric care, she completed a specialised children's health programme in 2018. She gained diverse clinical experience across various medical departments within a major metropolitan health network before transitioning into General Practice. Ms Healy is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
