Dr Lachlan Host

Dr. Lachlan Host is a highly specialised orthopaedic surgeon with a strong focus on joint replacement surgery for the knee and hip, arthroscopic knee surgery, and fracture management. He is dedicated to providing cutting-edge treatments to his patients. Dr. Host is particularly proud to offer the latest advancements in anterior minimally-invasive surgeries (AMIS) for hip replacement, as well as kinematically aligned and patient-specific instrumented (PSI) knee replacements.

His training background includes mentorship from top surgeons in New South Wales and Queensland, as well as military service and a fellowship in Edinburgh. Dr. Host obtained his FRACS (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) qualification from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015. He also holds a Bachelor of Medicine with a focus on Orthopaedics from the University of Newcastle, which he completed in 2004.
