Dr Kylie Alexander is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to the community of Beechworth, Victoria. With a deep-seated passion for rural medicine, she is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care that addresses the diverse needs of individuals and families. Dr Alexander completed her medical training at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2006. During her studies, she was awarded the prestigious Rural Australia Medical Undergraduate Scholarship, which further solidified her commitment to regional healthcare. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds additional qualifications as a Rural Generalist, equipping her with the advanced skills necessary to manage complex medical scenarios in regional settings.

Her journey into medicine began in her youth, when her experience working as a Medical Receptionist at a regional clinic inspired her to pursue a career as a rural General Practitioner. Today, she utilises this foundational understanding of community healthcare to offer a broad range of general practice services. Dr Alexander's clinical focus encompasses all aspects of family medicine, with a particular emphasis on the unique challenges and rewards of rural practice, ensuring that regional patients receive the same standard of comprehensive care as those in metropolitan areas.
