Dr Kyi Mon

Dr Kyi Mon is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, Dr Mon supports the health and well-being of individuals and families through all stages of life. She has a particular interest in women's health, family planning, and paediatric medicine, and is especially passionate about supporting children with behavioural disorders and helping their families navigate these complex challenges.

Before settling in Queensland, Dr Mon built a diverse clinical background through extensive international work. Following her initial medical training, she relocated to the United Kingdom, where she gained valuable experience in General Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Since moving to Australia, she has practised across various demographic regions in Queensland, developing a deep understanding of family medicine, geriatric care, and chronic disease management. Her reassuring and thorough approach ensures that every patient receives personalised, high-quality care.

Dr Mon completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2000. To further her skills in paediatric care, she completed a Diploma in Child Health in Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating her adherence to the highest standards of general practice. Additionally, she is certified in the insertion and removal of hormonal contraceptive implants, enabling her to provide specialised family planning services.
