Dr Kyaw Tun Oo

Dr Kyaw Tun Oo is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a professional approach that prioritises the individual needs of his patients, Dr Oo has established himself as a reassuring and supportive presence. He is particularly passionate about rural medicine, having spent time in Western New South Wales studying the rural healthcare system to better understand and serve regional populations.

Dr Oo obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Following his graduation, he gained valuable clinical experience by training as a Registered Medical Officer across various hospitals in Myanmar and Queensland. To further advance his professional development and expertise in general medicine, he is registered for the General Practice Fellowship Support Programme.

Throughout his career, Dr Oo has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He has a strong focus on orthopaedics and skin care, which includes performing comprehensive skin cancer checks. Additionally, he is highly skilled in emergency medicine and conducting minor surgical procedures. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr Oo is deeply community-focused and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, with a particular passion for racquet sports such as table tennis and badminton.
