Dr Kyaw Oo

Dr Kyaw Oo is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning both private practice and hospital environments, Dr Oo brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He is highly regarded for his reassuring manner and his holistic approach to patient health, ensuring that every individual receives personalised and comprehensive medical attention.

Dr Oo completed his medical education, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He subsequently undertook extensive training as a Registered Medical Officer, gaining valuable clinical experience across various hospitals in Myanmar and Queensland. To further advance his skills and support his dedication to the medical field, Dr Oo is registered for the GP Fellowship Support Programme (FSP). His passion for rural medicine also led him to spend time in Western New South Wales, where he studied the intricacies of rural healthcare systems to better serve regional communities.

In his daily practice, Dr Oo maintains a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on orthopaedics, emergency medicine, and comprehensive skin care, including skin cancer checks and minor surgical procedures. He is also highly skilled in managing chronic diseases, mental health, aged care, and children's health. Outside of his professional life, Dr Oo is deeply community-focused and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, with a particular passion for racquet sports such as badminton and table tennis.
