Dr Kushma Nand

Dr Nand is a Nephrologist and General Physician. They have a major interest in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) detection and progression. They also investigate the risk factors associated with CKD progression and have a special interest in resistant/refractory hypertension.

Their other interests include dialysis and chronic transplantation work. Their research interests cover the epidemiology and detection of CKD. Dr Nand has undertaken extensive voluntary work with the indigenous, Maori and Pacific Islander populations to delay the progression of CKD to end-stage renal failure.
