Dr Kumarasamysarma Divakaran

Dr Kumarasamysarma Divakaran is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages. Known warmly to many of his patients as Dr Diva, he is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised medical care. With a clinical approach grounded in empathy and evidence-based medicine, Dr Divakaran focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with individuals and families to support their ongoing health and well-being.

Dr Divakaran obtained his primary medical qualification in India in 2005 and subsequently completed further medical training in Sri Lanka. After relocating to Australia, he gained extensive clinical experience working as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at a major hospital in Newcastle. He later worked as a General Practitioner Obstetrician across regional New South Wales and Victoria. Dr Divakaran is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as a Diploma of Child Health.

Throughout his career, Dr Divakaran has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on family medicine, obstetrics, and paediatrics. His advanced training in women's and children's health allows him to provide specialised care in shared maternity care, antenatal support, and paediatric medicine.
