Dr. Kiran Kalian is an experienced and highly qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, accredited by both the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and the Australian Medical Board. He provides expert care to his patients, ensuring that they receive the best possible treatment every time.

Dr Kalian has a wealth of clinical and academic experience, having trained as an open and minimally invasive surgeon. He has spent over 30 years in public and private practice, as well as academia, across two continents. He has gained invaluable insight into women's health issues during his time working locum across Australia.

He works as a senior consultant at Eastern Health, where he is responsible for leading educational initiatives in the department of obstetrics and gynaecology. He participates in the theoretical and practical training of junior and trainee specialists, and serves as an examiner to RANZCOG. He is also a senior clinical lecturer at the Eastern clinical school and the University of Monash.

Dr Kalian's main area of expertise is in gynaecological surgery, particularly Minimally Invasive Procedures. He has an interest in surgical education and skills development for common gynaecological operations. He specialises in office-based gynaecological procedures that are cost effective and evidence-based.

Dr Kalian has several professional memberships, including the International Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, Australian Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and the South African Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
