Dr. Kieran Longley

Dr. Kieran Longley is a highly qualified Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. He is dedicated to delivering holistic care that addresses both the physical symptoms and the overall well-being of his patients. By utilising an evidence-based approach, Dr. Longley ensures that each individual receives a tailored treatment plan designed to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Dr. Longley completed his medical training at the University of Tasmania before pursuing internal medicine training in Sydney. He furthered his academic and clinical expertise by obtaining a Master of Science in Internal Medicine from the University of Edinburgh. He then undertook specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at several major hospitals in New South Wales. Dr. Longley is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and is certified by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Following his specialist qualification, Dr. Longley completed an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship, focusing on complex procedures such as mucosal resection, endoscopic ultrasound, and quality assurance in endoscopic interventions. His clinical interests encompass general gastroenterology, hepatology, and the management of inflammatory bowel diseases. He is highly skilled in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel video capsule endoscopy, and enteroscopy, ensuring his patients receive advanced and precise diagnostic evaluations.
