Dr Kevin Su

Dr Kevin Su is a highly dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. With a clinical focus on inflammatory autoimmune diseases, arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), he is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based treatment. Dr Su combines his medical expertise with a patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals are actively involved in their own healthcare decisions to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr Su began his academic journey at the University of Queensland, where he completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2008, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2013. He then undertook extensive residency and basic physician training, followed by advanced specialist training in Rheumatology across several major metropolitan and regional hospitals in Queensland. He successfully obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2020. Additionally, Dr Su has contributed to the wider medical community through his previous executive role with the Australian Rheumatology Association.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Su is deeply involved in medical education and research. He serves as a Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Queensland and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles as both a first author and co-author. His academic pursuits include a clinical research fellowship at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, where he focused on lupus protein expression patterns and inflammatory skin diseases. He also serves as a Principal Investigator for clinical trials and holds appointments as a Staff Specialist and Clinical Lead within public health services. In his personal life, Dr Su is a film and theatre enthusiast who stays active through kickboxing and Muay Thai, often integrating his passion for physical fitness into his holistic approach to patient care.
