Dr Kelly Watt

Dr Kelly Watt is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, she supports individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Watt is highly interested in all aspects of General Practice, with a particular focus on supporting patients through the management of chronic and complex physical and mental health conditions. Her practice is guided by a passion for health promotion, preventative medicine, and delivering personalised healthcare solutions.

Dr Watt graduated with her medical degree with honours from the University of Queensland in 2005. She has since pursued extensive postgraduate education, obtaining a Master of International Health, an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and a Diploma of Child Health. She completed her specialist General Practice training in Western Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Throughout her career, Dr Watt has gained diverse clinical experience working in regional and metropolitan hospitals across Queensland and New South Wales, and she has spent several years working within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Watt has advanced training and clinical interest in women's and children's health. She provides comprehensive family planning services, including the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices, such as copper and hormonal IUDs. She is also experienced in performing iron infusions when medically indicated. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Watt has contributed to the medical community through academic research and medical education, having published several research papers in her fields of interest.
