Dr Kelly Lai

Dr Kelly Lai is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who is committed to partnering with his patients to achieve their optimal health outcomes. He enjoys the diverse challenges and rewards that general medicine offers, providing comprehensive and personalised care to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Lai focuses on collaborative healthcare, ensuring that each patient feels supported and informed throughout their medical journey.

Dr Lai completed his Bachelor of Science before earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2002. He achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007. Committed to continuous professional development, he also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Travel Medicine and a Master of Health Administration. Dr Lai is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In his clinical practice, Dr Lai has a keen interest in travel medicine and immunisations, including yellow fever vaccinations. He is highly skilled in performing minor surgical procedures, such as the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants. Beyond his direct clinical work, he contributes to the broader medical community as a Managing Director, and serves as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, as well as an Accreditor and Advisory Board Member for general practice accreditation, helping to maintain high standards of safety and quality in healthcare delivery.
