Dr Kathleen Wild

Dr Kathleen Wild is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. With a focus on building strong, supportive relationships, she is committed to helping her patients achieve optimal health outcomes at every stage of life. Her approach is highly collaborative, ensuring that patients feel heard and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Wild has a broad range of clinical interests. She is highly experienced in family medicine, general medicine, and routine medical check-ups. Additionally, she has a strong focus on women's health, men's health, and mental health. Dr Wild is also deeply passionate about transgender medicine and gender-affirming care, working to make these essential services accessible within mainstream general practice. Her holistic view of health extends to the public health impacts of environmental factors, and she actively advocates for environmental sustainability in healthcare.

Dr Wild completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA). Committed to paediatric care, she also obtained a Diploma of Child Health (DCH). She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). In addition to her clinical work, Dr Wild has contributed to medical research and education, particularly through her involvement with the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle. She is an active member of Doctors for the Environment Australia and is affiliated with the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH).
