Dr Katherine Michelmore

Dr Katherine Michelmore is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, she is committed to supporting her patients through all stages of life. Dr Michelmore focuses on delivering evidence-based medical care, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs.

Dr Michelmore obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom. Following her initial medical training, she was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to attend Oxford University, where she completed a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in epidemiology. She went on to complete her postgraduate general practice vocational training in the United Kingdom and has since gained international experience working in both general practice and occupational health settings across the United Kingdom and Bermuda. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout her career, Dr Michelmore has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about women's health, diabetes management, and occupational medicine. Her clinical expertise also encompasses preventative health, skin procedures, iron infusions, and immunisation programmes for both children and adults. In addition to her clinical practice, she has held leadership roles as a Medical Director within regional primary healthcare organisations, contributing to the development of quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
