Dr Davey completed her medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1979. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Melbourne Medical School Academy of Clinical Teaching. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a Senior Lecturer in General Practice with the Melbourne University Rural Clinical School and has held the role of Senior Medical Educator. Her outstanding contributions to medical education were nationally recognised in 2019 when she was honoured with the prestigious Brian Williams Award from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Throughout her distinguished career, Dr Davey has developed a broad range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health, older person's health, and young person's health. She is highly skilled in chronic disease management, preventive health, and rural medicine, adapting her practice to meet the diverse needs of her community.
