Dr Katherine Craft

Dr Katherine Craft is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides compassionate, holistic medical care to individuals and families in Toowoomba. With a deep commitment to continuity of care, she supports her patients through complex physical and mental health challenges, working collaboratively with Specialist colleagues and Allied Health Practitioners to achieve optimal health outcomes. Dr Craft is particularly passionate about helping patients navigate their health journeys with a focus on preventative medicine and long-term well-being.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr Craft has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is highly regarded for her expertise in women's health, with a particular focus on supporting patients through their perimenopause and post-menopause years. Her clinical knowledge is further enhanced by her extensive background in surgical assisting, specifically in the fields of breast, endocrine, and metabolic surgery. Additionally, she is skilled in managing chronic diseases and complex mental health conditions, ensuring that each patient receives a personalised and comprehensive treatment plan.

Dr Craft completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 1993. Following her graduation, she completed a Certificate in Women's Health during her hospital residency. She undertook her specialist General Practice training on the Gold Coast before relocating to Toowoomba, where she has practised for many years. Dr Craft gained her specialist General Practice qualifications in 1999, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
