Dr Kate Napthali

Dr Kate Napthali is a highly regarded General Physician and Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She specialises in General (Internal) Medicine and Gastroenterology, offering expert diagnosis and management for a wide range of complex medical and gastrointestinal conditions. Dr Napthali is dedicated to delivering personalised care, ensuring clear communication and a supportive environment for all her patients. Her clinical practice focuses on addressing intricate health concerns with a holistic and compassionate approach.

Dr Napthali completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney, where she also earned a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours and a Master of International Studies with Honours. She undertook her comprehensive postgraduate medical training in the Northern Territory before completing her advanced specialist training at a leading tertiary hospital in Brisbane. Dr Napthali is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and holds a Graduate Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health from James Cook University.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Napthali is actively involved in medical education and research. She serves as a Conjoint Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Newcastle and regularly contributes to the ongoing education of General Practitioners.
