Dr Kate Lichkus

Dr Kate Lichkus is a dedicated General Paediatrician who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, holistic care for children from birth through to young adulthood. With a warm and reassuring approach, she focuses on establishing individualised healthcare plans tailored to the unique needs of each child and their family. Dr Lichkus understands the complexities of managing childhood health and development, and she strives to support families through every stage of their child's growth.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of paediatric services, with a particular focus on both acute and chronic health conditions. Dr Lichkus has a special interest in managing complex health needs, developmental concerns, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and suspected autism spectrum disorders. Additionally, she possesses significant expertise in genetic metabolic disorders, contributing to clinical research aimed at improving outcomes for children with rare conditions.

Dr Lichkus completed her medical degree at the University of Auckland, qualifying in 2009. She subsequently relocated to Australia to undertake extensive speciality training in paediatrics across several major tertiary paediatric networks. She holds General Specialist Registration in Paediatrics and Child Health and is a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Committed to continuous learning and public health, she also obtained a Master of Public Health with distinction in 2017.
