Dr Kate Emily O'Neill

Dr Kate Emily O'Neill is a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner who is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on family medicine, she supports patients of all ages through every stage of life. Dr O'Neill prioritises preventative healthcare and collaborative treatment plans, ensuring that individuals and families receive the reassuring guidance and medical support necessary to maintain optimal health.

Dr O'Neill completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Deakin University in 2015. Before embarking on her medical career, she graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2008, working as a musculoskeletal and sports Physiotherapist and as an Emergency Department Physiotherapy Practitioner. She completed her medical internship and residency in Melbourne, followed by specialised training in paediatrics at major hospitals in Canberra and Sydney. Dr O'Neill holds a qualification from the Sydney Child Health Programme (SCHP) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Drawing on her unique clinical background, Dr O'Neill has developed key areas of interest in paediatric medicine, women's health, and musculoskeletal care. She has completed advanced training in managing women throughout pregnancy and the post-partum period, with a particular focus on perinatal medicine. Her extensive experience in physiotherapy provides her with a deep understanding of sports injuries, acute pain management, and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr O'Neill is passionate about supporting children's health and development, working closely with families and specialist teams to manage chronic paediatric conditions.
