Dr Karyn Ashley

Dr Karyn Ashley is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a holistic approach to medicine, she is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Ashley believes in the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and reassured throughout their healthcare journey.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of general medicine, with particular expertise in Paediatrics, Women's Health, and Family Medicine. Dr Ashley has a strong interest in preventative health, chronic disease management, and sexual health. She is also highly experienced in providing antenatal shared care, immunisations, and managing workers' compensation cases, ensuring that her patients receive well-rounded and continuous care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Dr Ashley completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New South Wales, earning a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in music performance and psychology. She then pursued her medical training at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. To further her expertise in child health, she obtained a Diploma in Child Health. Dr Ashley completed her General Practice training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018. She has also contributed to the wider medical community as a Senior Clinical Editor, helping to guide and support local healthcare pathways.
