Dr Karen Tong

Dr Karen Tong is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families at every stage of life. Dr Tong focuses on delivering high-quality healthcare, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention and tailored medical advice to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr Tong completed her medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2001. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence, she went on to obtain a Diploma of Child Health in 2006, achieving the top mark in her cohort, as well as a Diploma of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and actively contributes to the medical profession as an Examiner for the college.

In her clinical practice, Dr Tong has developed a diverse range of special interests, with a particular focus on family medicine, women's health, and child health. She is an accredited provider for Antenatal Shared Care, offering supportive and comprehensive pregnancy care to expectant mothers. Her practice also encompasses preventative health, asthma management, pathology testing, and pre-employment health checks, reflecting her holistic approach to preventative medicine and patient wellness.
