Dr Karen Slee

Dr Karen Slee is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality primary care to her patients. With a practice philosophy centred on treating every individual with respect and empathy, she acts as a strong advocate for her patients throughout their health journeys. Dr Slee enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine, finding great fulfilment in helping patients navigate both the physical and emotional challenges of life.

Dr Slee completed her medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1989. Following her initial medical training, she gained valuable clinical experience working across major metropolitan hospitals before transitioning into General Practice. In 1995, she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is a vocationally registered General Practitioner.

Throughout her career, Dr Slee has developed a broad range of clinical interests, allowing her to deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She has particular expertise in women's health, family medicine, and paediatrics, ensuring that families receive tailored and supportive medical attention. Additionally, she is highly skilled in travel medicine, preventive medicine, and the ongoing management of chronic diseases, helping patients maintain optimal health and well-being.
