Dr Karel Hromek

Dr Karel Hromek is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong foundation in general medicine, he focuses on delivering holistic healthcare solutions that address the root causes of illness rather than merely managing symptoms. His approach combines traditional medical practices with integrative therapies to support long-term health and wellbeing.

Throughout his career, Dr Hromek has developed a particular interest in nutritional and environmental medicine. He specialises in managing allergies and sensitivities, and offers advanced therapies such as chelation therapy and injectable nutrient therapy. Additionally, he is highly skilled in conducting thorough environmental and gastrointestinal assessments, helping patients navigate complex health issues related to gut health and environmental exposures.

Dr Hromek completed his initial academic training at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Science majoring in microbiology and ecology in 1973. He then went on to study medicine at the University of Newcastle, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice, he is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (FACNEM) and a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
