Dr Julia Ann Conway

Dr Julia Ann Conway is a highly experienced General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With an extensive career in general medicine, she has developed a diverse clinical background that spans community health, emergency medicine, and specialised family care. Dr Conway is committed to supporting patients of all ages, offering a reassuring and thorough approach to managing both acute and chronic health conditions.

Throughout her career, Dr Conway has developed a strong interest in medicine for the elderly, frequently visiting aged care facilities to support older patients. Her clinical expertise also encompasses women's health, where she provides family planning advice and performs specialised procedures such as intrauterine device (IUD) and contraceptive implant fittings. Additionally, she is skilled in performing minor skin surgery, joint injections, and iron infusions. Her broad experience includes working in community clinics, such as adolescent health centres, sexual health clinics, and homeless health services, as well as serving in a General Practitioner-led emergency department.

Dr Conway obtained her medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), and went on to achieve postgraduate recognition as a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).
