She has a particular focus on women's health, including family planning, antenatal care, and menopause management, as well as paediatric care and children's health. Her expertise also extends to preventative health, travel medicine, and emergency medicine.

Dr Ching completed her medical education in the Philippines, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine in 1984. She furthered her academic pursuits by earning a Master of Public Health in Israel in 1995. Demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence, she became a Fellow of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians in 2000. After relocating to Australia, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012, reflecting her high standards of clinical practice and dedication to the field of General Practice.
