Dr Joseph Chua

Dr Joseph Chua is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He strongly believes in the value of continuity of care, enjoying the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and their families. Having previously worked in hospital emergency departments, Dr Chua transitioned to general practice to focus on understanding each patient's unique health journey and supporting their long-term wellbeing.

Dr Chua obtained his medical degree from the University of Adelaide in 2013. Following his graduation, he gained valuable clinical experience in acute care settings before relocating to Queensland in 2016. He subsequently achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a testament to his high standards of clinical practice and dedication to ongoing professional development.

In his clinical practice, Dr Chua specialises in a broad range of general medicine, with particular clinical interests in the management of chronic diseases, cardiac disease, respiratory disease, and diabetes. He is passionate about helping patients manage complex health conditions to improve their overall quality of life. Outside of his medical work, Dr Chua enjoys spending time outdoors and is a keen soccer player.
