About Dr Jonathon Parkinson

Dr Jonathon Parkinson is a highly experienced neurosurgeon with specialist expertise in brain and spinal tumours, skull base surgery, and the full spectrum of spinal surgery, including minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques. He holds clinical appointments at Royal North Shore Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, Gosford Private Hospital, and Sydney Adventist Hospital.

Dr Parkinson completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney in 1998 and undertook advanced neurosurgical training at leading Sydney hospitals, including Royal North Shore and Prince of Wales Hospitals. During this period, he completed a PhD at the Kolling Institute of Medical Research, specialising in the molecular biology of brain tumours.
