Dr Jonathon Douglas Stacey is a compassionate and highly skilled General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Douglas Stacey completed his medical education at the University of New England in Armidale, where his studies were sponsored by the Royal Australian Navy. Prior to embarking on his medical degree, he completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Paramedical Science and worked as a Paramedic within a regional ambulance service in Queensland. He subsequently completed his medical internship and residency at a regional hospital in New South Wales, gaining extensive experience across a broad range of medical disciplines.

With a diverse professional background, Dr Douglas Stacey has developed a particular interest in emergency medicine. He holds advanced qualifications in the Emergency Management of Severe Trauma as well as Underwater Medicine, reflecting his ongoing training and preparation for deployments as a medical officer with the Royal Australian Navy. This unique combination of emergency and community-based training allows him to deliver reassuring, high-quality care to patients presenting with both routine and complex medical needs.
