Dr Jonathan Marchand

Dr Jonathan Marchand is a highly dedicated Specialist General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, he is committed to supporting individuals and families through every stage of their health journeys. Dr Marchand has a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine, offering hands-on treatment for back, neck, hip, and knee pain, as well as headaches and migraines. His practice also encompasses integrative medicine, men's health, travel medicine, and geriatric medicine, where his early training in internal medicine allows him to deliver exceptional care to older patients.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Marchand is highly regarded for his expertise in mental health, with a specific focus on the assessment and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in both children and adults. He has previously served as a Medical Advisor to an ADHD support group, demonstrating his deep commitment to neurodivergent patients. Furthermore, Dr Marchand is passionate about dermatology and skin cancer care. Having completed advanced training in dermoscopy, he is skilled in the early detection, diagnosis, and management of skin cancers. Dr Marchand obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand. He holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to continuous professional development, he completed part one of a specialist degree in obstetrics and gynaecology during his time as a Junior Doctor, and later completed the coursework for a Master of Musculoskeletal Medicine at Macquarie University. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate fellowship from the Faculty of Homeopathy in the United Kingdom, which informs his holistic approach to integrative medicine.
