Dr Jonathan Beavers

Dr Jonathan Beavers is a highly qualified Consultant Specialist Physician in Geriatric Medicine who provides dedicated care for older individuals in Emerald, Victoria. As a Geriatrician, he specialises in managing the unique and often complex health challenges that arise during the ageing process. His clinical practice focuses on supporting patients who experience multiple concurrent health issues or find it difficult to manage their daily routines due to physical or cognitive decline. He is committed to delivering comprehensive assessments that promote independence, safety, and an improved quality of life for his patients.

Dr Beavers completed his medical degree at the University of Edinburgh, obtaining his Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours and his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He gained valuable clinical experience working across Scotland and England before relocating to Australia. He holds several prestigious professional qualifications, including Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Alongside his clinical work, he contributes to medical education as an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University.
