Dr Johnson Huang

Dr Johnson Huang is a highly qualified Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeon who provides comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients. With a reassuring and personable approach, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality medical and surgical outcomes. As an Otolaryngologist, Dr Huang specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and skull base, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and compassionate care tailored to their unique needs.

Dr Huang completed his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales in 2003. Committed to advancing his clinical knowledge, he went on to obtain a Master of Surgery in Otolaryngology from the University of Sydney in 2010. He qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2014, specialising in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Following this, he undertook advanced post-fellowship sub-specialty training to further refine his surgical skills.

In his clinical practice, Dr Huang has a particular interest in otology, including complex ear surgery, hearing restoration, and cochlear implantation. He is also highly skilled in managing sinonasal pathology through rhinology, as well as treating complex skull base pathology. Beyond his clinical work as a Surgeon, Dr Huang is actively involved in clinical research and is passionate about education, regularly teaching and lecturing Medical Students, Surgical Trainees, and Allied Health Staff. He also dedicates his time to providing outreach services to underprivileged and Indigenous populations.
