Dr John Law

Dr John Law is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. With a reassuring and professional approach, he supports individuals and families through all stages of life, focusing on preventative medicine and long-term health outcomes. Dr Law believes in building strong, collaborative relationships with his patients to help them make informed decisions about their physical and mental well-being.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Law has developed a broad range of clinical interests to meet the diverse needs of his patients. He has a strong focus on chronic disease management, helping patients navigate complex, long-term conditions with tailored care plans. His clinical expertise also extends to men's health, mental health support, paediatrics, and skin cancer assessments. Additionally, Dr Law is highly experienced in aged care and geriatric medicine, providing empathetic and specialised support for elderly patients, including those living with dementia.

Dr Law completed his medical training at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2008. Following his graduation, he completed his internship and residency training as a General Medical Officer, gaining valuable experience in major regional hospitals. He also undertook specialised training in ophthalmology, which enhances his ability to manage eye-related concerns in general practice. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, Dr Law obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023.
