Dr John Kippen

Dr John Kippen is a highly qualified and dedicated Specialist Plastic Surgeon who provides a comprehensive range of cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive procedures. Dr Kippen completed his medical degree in 1989, obtaining his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He then undertook extensive training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, completing advanced surgical training at a major teaching hospital. He obtained a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, qualifying him as a Consultant Specialist. To further refine his skills, Dr Kippen completed additional fellowship training in Cosmetic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, Micro Surgery, and Hand Surgery, followed by advanced training at a specialist plastic surgery unit in London. He is an active member of several prestigious professional organisations, including the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the Australian Medical Association.

Throughout his career, Dr Kippen has developed a broad and deep expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. His surgical repertoire spans complex facial surgeries, including cosmetic and reconstructive facial procedures, as well as a full spectrum of breast surgeries, such as breast reconstruction, reduction, and augmentation. He also performs body contouring procedures and reconstructive treatments for skin cancer.
