Dr John Howell

Dr John Howell is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, he is committed to delivering high-quality medical care that supports the long-term health and well-being of the community. Dr Howell believes in building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Howell obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne in 1984. Demonstrating a commitment to expanding his clinical expertise, he went on to complete a Diploma of Obstetrics (DRANZCOG) in 1998. He has been practising general medicine in Victoria since 1990, bringing a wealth of knowledge and clinical insight to his daily practice.

Throughout his career, Dr Howell has developed a broad range of clinical interests. His practice encompasses family care, paediatrics, women's care, men's care, and geriatrics, allowing him to support patients at every stage of life. He also has particular expertise in managing skin diseases and addressing ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Howell enjoys spending quality time with his family, pursuing his passion for music, and singing in a local choir.
